I can't remember who first made this observation but,
this is my nephew Colter and Winston Churchill.
The resemblance cannot be denied.

and in ma-a-a-ay, they got married
you know like the song January Wedding, but May wedding? No? Okay.
Pictures from my brothers wedding on Saturday.
I stole like a ton of these from Tristine.

Bingham family gatherings are the highlights of my life.
I LOVE my family!
And congrats to my bro Justin and gorgeous new sister-in-law Carleen!

and this is why I didn't win
"I would love to go to Ireland, I would love to win, I just love you guys so much."
I felt frazzled. That's all I'm gonna say.
Oh and I also stare at myself the entire time.

my juice carton is now my wallet
In December my friend Ashlee and I went to the Caribbean with her family. While we were there we drank copious amounts of this crazy foreign Dutch (?) fruit juice.
We both brought home empty cartons, just for sentimental reasons I guess.

I keep attempting to make a duct tape wallet but every time, I somehow manage to screw it up.
Good thing what I lack in skill I make up for in determination!

| Mines been sitting on my shelf for months. |

And now (thanks to youtube) it's my new wallet.
The only thing is, it kinda smells like rotten juice.

baby powder and mascara
The other day I googled how to get fuller looking lashes, and came across this technique.
I mentioned something about it to my sister and she acted as if it was common knowledge.
Goodness.
No one ever tells me anything around here.

This is what you do:
1. Apply a coat of mascara.
2. With finger, kinda brush/pat/cake a layer of baby powder onto the wet mascara

repeat 3X.
Or even more, depends how thick and dramatic you want them.

Soooo
Here are my plans for the summer of 2011.
1. Dip Dye my hair
2. Spend a month in a clinical research study and make thousands of dollars. Kinda weird, but not weird enough to keep me away.
3. Go to some shows.

The Followills
The first time I ever heard the words 'Kings of Leon' was in the year 2003....maybe 2004? So maybe I don't remember the exact year, but I do remember it was a very long time ago. My super cool sister Ashley (shout out!) had an issue of Rolling Stones magazine and was showing me a layout of "this band of brothers, who are super sexy". I remember dismissing it, like, "cool, now let me get back to listening to Tim Mcgraw", or something of that nature. So later Ashley made a mix CD, I put it on my giant 30 gig ipod, and there it sat until Spring Break of 2006.
I was riding in the car on the way to Mexico when the song, 'Where Nobody Knows', came on my shuffle. It was love at first note.
The whole week in Mexico, I played that song over and over and over again.
When I got home I got to googling.
I didn't know any of the song titles, so I would type some lyrics into Google and then fetch the song name.
I printed off picture after picture of the band and glued them all over my school notebooks.
I watched video after video of interviews and performances on Youtube, until I had seen every single one.
I bought all of their music videos and put them on my Ipod.
I showed the video of The Bucket to my friends (you know those couple seconds where Caleb smiles so sexily).
Around this time I worked at Space Age, an auto paint store. I found out one of my co-workers, Albert, liked KOL as well. I was ecstatic. It was rare to find someone back then who had ever even heard of them.
We would sit on Myspace all day and leave comments on their page begging them to come to Arizona. And then in September of 2007 they finally came......and I missed it.
It wouldn't be until May of 2009 that I finally got to see them.
My sister Brittney looks beyond crazy in all of these haha
And that was the first time I saw Kings of Leon.
I'm trying to win a contest, but I'm starting to feel like I don't have a snowballs chance in hell ha.

It was so strange finally seeing these people ten feet in front of me, who I had listened to for years and gazed at on computer screens (creepy much?).
They didn't play my favorite songs but I still loved it to death.
And to this day it's one of my favorite shows I've ever been to.

Margaret and Hilaree
On Friday night I met up with Hilaree and Margaret in downtown Phoenix.
Every first Friday of the month they have art galleries, live music, and just a whole bunch of other crazy stuff along the streets of downtown Phoenix . I can't do it justice explaining it, you just gotta be there!

It was pretty fun, except I didn't have any money to buy cool stuff with. That always puts a damper on things.
Sorry for the overly edited photos, just a little experimentation with Picnik!

feeling negative
Guess what? I woke up feeling uncomfortably warm, my brother is forcing me to do his homework, I need to shower....life is just no good at the moment.
Here is a list of stuff I hate:
1. Wendys
2. Writing with pencils
3. Driving a car without air conditioning.
4. Studying
5. People who say "what?" after every.single.thing I say.
6. Not having any money.
7. Nostalgia
8. Having to do something other than lay on my bed all day.
9. Wide ruled notebooks
10. Know-it-alls
11. Donnie Darko
12. Sugarland
And the list goes ever onward...
In other news, look at this crazy genie I found at D.I.
I wish:
1. For any ounce of musical ability.
2. To look like Blake Lively
3. And to have all the knowledge of everything science.

last day of (regular) class, and a pretty good hair day
Today was my last regular day of classes, yay!
I gave a presentation in my geography class and I knocked it out of the freaking park.
All I have to worry about now is an anatomy final next wednesday and an online geography final.
And then I'm freeee!!
I have high expectations for this summer, so it better not suck.
Oh, and I also had a pretty good hair day. Not bad for sleeping on it wet!

May 2nd
Yesterday was strange.
The other night my body refused to fall asleep, so when it hit 5:30 a.m. and the sun was basically up, I got up, popped a couple excedrin, and went jogging.
When I got home I polka dotted my nails and watched SLC Punk.
Then school for ten billion hours.
Took the Valley Metro home (awful).
Fell asleep, and now here I am!

spammer?
The other day someone or something anonymous left an odd comment under one of my posts.
So naturally I googled it and it's out of a book called The Amateur Gentleman by Jefferey Farnol
It's a sign.
Now I must read this book.
