back from pittsburgh and car is bad

Heyyyy blog.
I went to Pittsburgh and it was fun. I feel a lot more positive from it and also motivated to start achieving some shit and propel my life forward. Ryan is motivating, he represents to me the ultimate adult. How can one be so good at adulting and how is he related to me? His message was basically, "you got one life, do something with it".
And then Julie and the kids were just all so positive and happy!! It was contagious.

So I get back to Knoxville and my car goes kaput. $1220 for repairs! Like, dammit. The engine was misfiring (spark plugs, wiring, etc.) and the brakes need to be replaced.
Naturally I can't afford that right now, so I quit TNG and now I need to find something in the immediate area that I can walk or bike to.
I don't feel like I would've been able to handle this setback if I hadn't of just spent time with family. I'm SERIOUSLY feeling a lot more positive and less anxious, this is not a joke.

Onwards to the next phase of life!

I basically take a magnifying glass to every bad feeling I have and scrutinize the shit out of them. Ninety percent of the time I'm thinking about myself and that makes me a boring person. No time for interesting thoughts when I'm dwelling on negativity :(

I met Erik on tinder and I have zero shame about that lol
We agreed to meet at a place called The Blue Mason for, as he referred to it, a "fika" which is a swedish term meaning coffee and possibly some pastries.
I walked in and he was sitting straight ahead. I remember him looking quite pleased to see me (he thought I was pretty). Knowing him now and how subdued he is, I'm amazed at just how overjoyed he actually looked haha makes me happy!
He ordered me a large coffee and I didn't bother telling him I didn't like coffee, so I had to sit there and pretend to drink it the entire time.
The conversation was extraordinary, I remember talking about the homeless people in Utah lol.

The Blue Mason is definitely my favorite coffee shop ever!

today on sunday

So far on this fine Sunday afternoon I've been conditioning my leather,

 polishing my silver,

and now I'm sitting here in the family room with pops doing homework and listening to general conference.

This past week I:

• watched youtube video after youtube video (CTFxC and Caspar Lee are my favorites) when is the next vidcon? Cause 2014, I will be there!
• Ditched anatomy because I have a worthless frazzled teacher and all I get when I go to class is confused.
• Lost one of my favorite earrings and cried about it. The amount of love I bestow on my jewelry is unreal.
• Spent way too much time at thrift stores.
• And of course Salad and Go every night. My salad tossing skills pay my bills. But not really cause I'm strictly the walk up window cashier.

BYE.
My dad has fallen asleep so I may sneak downstairs and put coconut oil in my hair....

It's 6am
I'm on the train on the way to work.
Last night I fell asleep with ear buds in my ears. I must've gotten tangled up in them cause I woke up and they were broken.
Wahh!
I keep spending money on bad food.
So thicker waist, slimmer wallet.
I spent like 100 bucks on airport food last month, that's really embarrassing.
I'm the worst texter ever!! I apologize if you ever text me. I'm a procrastinator and I suck at responding.
People who talk about themselves on the constant need to just stay away from me. 50/50 conversations people!
I'm sick of people using my quiet nature to just chatter endlessly about themselves. When my eyes glaze over it means I'm not interested in what you're saying.
I bought my first pair of boots yesterday, they're pretty cool.
I don't have a pic of them on my phone otherwise I'd put it on here. They're like brown combat boots, kind of.
I've been eating so unhealthy lately and it's bringing me down!! When my diet isn't in check I get so slobbish and disorganized......and negative. Hence this post.
A hurricane is coming. I don't really know what that means but hopefully nothing catastrophic occurs.
Also, creepy airport employees let me be! I've got like three creepy 40 year old dudes thinking I'm their best friend, walking me all over the airport. Just because I'm nice!

It's funny. When I actually have big occurrences in my life, they are incredibly hard to blog about.

It's too big of a task and simply put, I am lazy.

But ya'll, I'm moving across the country to live with Emma!

I've got two months to find a job and if that doesn't happen, it's right back to the basement of 525 I go.

But I will find a job. Cause I'm temporarily done with this joint and I need to get outta this house.

1. The fact that my left thigh and left arm is fatter/bigger than my right, is stressful.

1. Sundowning: (late day confusion) occurs between 3:30 to 6:30, 7ish. The sun is in that awkward position where it's always in your eyes. Rush hour. You're tired and just wanna go home, change into big clothes, and sit in the darkness.

There is one cure and one cure only.

Find a dark basement and sit in it.

If you don't have a basement.....sorry......fear the sundown.



2. When going to a thrift store, find the baggiest clothes you own and wear them. Because scary people shop in thrift stores and they stare.

Now you won't have to hear me whine about needing a job, huzzah!
I'll give you the full details some other time but I'll go ahead and give you the downsides now, just so you're not too happy for me.
Ulta is only seasonal so it ends in January. They did however say there's a good chance I could get hired on permanently.
As for Rockzone it's only Saturdays, BUT I get to run the store on my own and basically listen to records all the live long day. That is all I will ever need.
