findadeath.com. Feeling like a conspiracy theorist and a little bit morbid.

It's hazy but I'm almost positive I haven't taken one step outside today.
I've been sitting here reading about celebrity deaths all the day long.

what a great day.

findadeath.com is my new favorite website.
If you have any interest in Hollywood folklore or just trivia in general you will love it.
And the guy who runs it is hil.arious, he's all over the place finding and taking pictures of death scenes, old hollywood houses and gravesites. Oh and he also takes things from the sites and claims them as souvenirs like rocks and pieces of wood. This guy is my hero.

And don't think I'm lying when I say I've been reading this website ALL day. I'm not even embarrassed.

junk drawer charm bracelet

These knick knacks have been hanging around my jewelry box foreverz.
Most of em' are pendants I wore everyday at one point and some of them are just junk charms I probably found on the floor.

I bought jump rings and then just attached them all to the chain.

The occasional book was the only drug I ever took.

Quick story time: In seventh grade I was sitting at my desk reading Little Women, when the boy sitting in front of me turned around and called me a geek for reading a book that big when I didn't even have to. From then on, all the way through high school, I was too embarrassed to read in front of my peers. I hope that little punk works at Circle K now.

Just a few of my absolute favorites:

Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann
I effing loved this book. It took awhile to really get into but I'm glad I pressed forward. Don't ask me why but for some reason I love books about people with problems. Drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, depression, craziness, you name it, this must be why I love memoirs so much. But yeah this is a good one.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I've reread this book more times than any other, and every time it gives me a sad feeling I can't kick for days. I love it.

On The Road by Jack Kerouac
I longed to be a traveling gypsy after I read this. I could just hitchhike cross country and do what I please. But alas, their are too many evil people in this world and I would surely be murdered.

The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson
This one had to grow on me. A couple years ago I went on a Hunter S. Thompson kick and read a few of his books. Largely due to the fact my love, Johnny Depp, is a big fan himself.

I'm just waiting for these shelves to collapse under all the weight and fall on my head.

xxxxxCROSS-STITCHxxxxx

My dear Mother is a cross-stitch master and a half.
A couple months ago she took me, almost ceremoniously, to Attic Needlework to pick out my very first sampler. I LOVE it so far.

This is what it'll look like when it's done.

Yeah, this is no weekend project guys.
My Dad jokes I won't finish it until my future husband dies of old age.
Isn't he hilarious?

E & E Anderson and I have old granny stitching parties.
We stitch, eat werthers, drink ginger ale, watch t.v., and make late night Wal-Mart runs.
That is what we do on our Saturday nights.
I know, I know, wild.
