Lucky Day finds

Last year I worked at a thrift store on Western Ave. It was mostly a horrible experience on account of my boss was a bi-polar crazy person with some intense girl-hate. But besides the tense atmosphere it was kinda great because I acquired some cool stuff!

Brooks and Dunn dad hat

Probably my best find. Turquoise sterling ring, I got for basically nothing. 

Also a fantastic find. Vintage tooled belt with sterling buckle. This was like 75 cents. I would like it more if I knew how to utilize a waist belt.

Mossimo for Target corduroy coat. New with tags. Almost $10 but eh, retail was like $49.95.

Of course I acquired a number of books. These were my favorite and the only ones I still have in my possession.

Vintage brass lamp and stained glass pencil cup for bedside table.

Eyeshadow palette and hair serum. Both retail for $50-ish. I got them for free.

Gold and sterling locket.

Western tee with patches.

Vintage board games for Erik for Xmas. He loved them!! $10 for the both of them I think.

So far on this fine Sunday afternoon I've been conditioning my leather,

 polishing my silver,

and now I'm sitting here in the family room with pops doing homework and listening to general conference.

This past week I:

• watched youtube video after youtube video (CTFxC and Caspar Lee are my favorites) when is the next vidcon? Cause 2014, I will be there!
• Ditched anatomy because I have a worthless frazzled teacher and all I get when I go to class is confused.
• Lost one of my favorite earrings and cried about it. The amount of love I bestow on my jewelry is unreal.
• Spent way too much time at thrift stores.
• And of course Salad and Go every night. My salad tossing skills pay my bills. But not really cause I'm strictly the walk up window cashier.

My dad has fallen asleep so I may sneak downstairs and put coconut oil in my hair....

junk drawer charm bracelet

These knick knacks have been hanging around my jewelry box foreverz.
Most of em' are pendants I wore everyday at one point and some of them are just junk charms I probably found on the floor.

I bought jump rings and then just attached them all to the chain.

Can you tell I'm really big on coins and charm bracelets right now? I'm in the process of collecting state quarters, and you know what I've noticed? Where are the freaking Arizona quarters?? I've seen ONE since they came out in 08', someone must be hoarding them somewhere.
