Remember when...
Keely's hair was so tangled it took Kallee and Tara longer than an hour to get it combed out?
Reminds me of when I was younger (k like two years ago) Dad would look over at me and ask, "Holly, when was the last time you ran a brush through that hair?" haha

This is our street. We live in the Rittenhouse district right in Center City, so pretty much everything is in walking distance except walmart (UNFORTUNATELY)

Stairs leading up to apartment. This place used to be a house but was divided into apartments.
Lobbyish area right when you walk in. The grey boxes are mailboxes and the people across from us smoke so the lobby always smells weird. I'll probably be taping anonymous hate mail to their door.
Our door is directly to the left, ground floor, apartment #1.
when you first walk in. Emma's parents just moved into a (really cool) house, so they gave us the couch, t.v., and bookshelf. We're so excited! haha. But thats why everything looks a bit haphazard.
Kitchen area.
Faux fireplace.
bathroom door haha

viaje a EspaƱa
Flew to Philly, stayed a night > flew to Madrid, stayed a night > drove to Granada, stayed a night > drove to Malaga, stayed 4 nights with day trips to Gibraltar and Morocco in between > drove back to Madrid, stayed another night > flew home
GRANADA
We visited the Alhambra and stayed in this hotel with frightening hallways and flickering lights.
MALAGA
MOROCCO (Africa!)
The locals would harass us as we'd walk through the streets, trying to get us to buy their stuff. Lah means 'no, leave me alone'. So we'd sing lalalalala and they'd laugh and mockingly sing it back at us haha
We bought sandals but I hate the ones I chose. They hurt my feet and somewhat resemble Jesus sandals cause they're brown. Ashlee's are cute and pink though.
Some notes:
WELL, I have tomorrow and monday until I take off for Philadelphia. Not too nervous yet but I do feel unprepared. I'm lazy and all I want to do is watch Friends and cross stitch
Me and Britt in the back of the rental Ford Fiesta. What a terrible cramped car it was.
Lunch. We sat on the ground and people didn't judge
The workers/custodians wear fire fighter outfits, it's the weirdest thing.
this chick
downtown Madrid. Hookers everywhere

'The Shining' anyone? We slept for like 12 hours this night and watched the spanish disney channel for about five.

Aladdin, it felt like

Moroccan meal. I ate lamb!
tour guide guy
We rode camels and the scratchy camel blanket wounded me
Tom Sawyers cave. Just kidding, it was Hercules.
Europe doesn't believe in serving ice with your drink, and when they do, its this single ice cube as big as a pop can. Probably the sole reason why I could never live there.
Some notes:
- Spaniards are attractive and for the most part people dress nicely.
- Driving is insane in spain! Never have I come so close to death so many times in such a short period of time.
- THE SUN NEVER GOES DOWN. We ate dinner every night at like 10pm. No wonder they have siesta.
- We played a ton of Temple Run and even called ourselves The Temple Run Club. 5 million y'all
- I've figured out the cure for homesickness and it's reading lots of books! I read three cause I'm the biggest baby on this side of the Mississippi.
- I almost forgot Gibraltar. I forgot my phone so I don't have any pictures, but we took a cable car up and then hiked down the rock.
- We encountered little apes while up there. Monkeys are among my most hated animals. So that was fun.

tom sawyer
this book.
"He privately smoothed out the curls, with labour and difficulty, and plastered his hair close to his head; for he held curls to be effeminate, and his own filled his life with bitterness."
While reading this, I was so tired and so slap happy, I could not stop laughing for minutes. Kid you not.
If I hadn't of quarantined myself to the basement for the day, I'd head to d.i. and get Huckleberry Finn.
Ugh, my lyfe.
