Surfer Blood!!

Confession: I ditched church again today. Instead I watched an awful movie called Requiem For a Dream.
Disturbing movie, never watch it.
Unless you're debating on whether or not to do drugs, in which case be my guest it'll slap some sense into you.
I just think Jared Leto's hott.

Anyway, completely unrelated to all of that craziness is Surfer Blood! They played with The Black Lips on The Bruise Cruise in February, and they're my favorite at the moment.

The other day Ashley and I took a trip to D.I., which btw, is my favorite thrift store of all time! They have an excellent selection of dresses, books (75 cents!), and a wondrous bric-a-brac section. Plus it seems somewhat cleaner there and the people a bit more normal. But only a tiny bit.

I just like buying things.

And a larger than life clothespin.

So I admit, this was almost a year ago. But I have pictures and it was a quality time so you get to hear about it anyway!

The Tyler Reeve band was pretty cool. Although later Ashlee bought their album and turns out they're a whole lot better live. Ten bucks wasted!

Ashlee is in love with this man. This was about her one-hundred and fiftieth time seeing him.

Montgomery Gentry! Let me tell you, Troy Gentry was, unexpectedly, one sexy man. Basically during their whole set my camera was zoomed in on his face. Camera.Creeping. At its best.

Little Big Town, Jamey Johnson, Jack Ingram, and Eli Young Band were also there, but no pics. Probably cause they were no bueno.

Oh! And we also had a celebrity sighting.
